Acre became the main crusader city after the loss of Jerusalem. Acre was a city located on the shores of the Mediterranean where the main religious and military orders resided. The Templars as an Order formed by warrior monks stood out for their bravery in dozens of battles. One of them was the defense of the last important Christian city in the Holy Land: San Juan de Acre, on April 5, 1291, against a gigantic Muslim army. They lost the battle, but they did not lose their honor, as they fought sword in hand until the last drop of blood led by Guillaume de Beaujeu, their Grand Master.
This Acre medieval one-handed combat sword has a robust and imposing 1065 carbon steel blade with an antique and sharp finish. Cruciform handle with hand grip and circular knob. Includes matching sheath with belt clip.
