Shipping and delivery times

This page sets out the general shipping options and rates of tienda-medieval.com. The cost applicable to each order is calculated before purchase confirmation according to destination, total order weight where relevant, items, available method and current promotions. The order summary shows the total, taxes and any additional charges before payment.

Rates for Spain, Portugal and Andorra

In mainland Portugal, GLS home delivery costs from €6.00 and is free from €80. GLS Parcel Shop costs €5.00 for orders up to 20 kg, with free shipping from €60.

Azores and Madeira: shipping by quotation. Request the transport cost before purchasing. Shipping is quoted and charged separately. A €0 amount that may appear in the quotation-request option does not mean free shipping.

Free shipping is available when the order amount reaches the threshold indicated for the chosen method. Specific options are shown when entering your address and completing checkout.

For the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and Andorra, request the cost and conditions through our Contact page before placing the order. The quotation-request option does not mean free shipping.

Weight-based rates: Portuguese islands and other European destinations

The following euro amounts are initial shipping rates for each destination and method. No free-shipping rate is configured for these destinations. Home or collection-point delivery availability depends on the address and options offered at checkout.

Shipping costs increase according to total order weight and the applicable weight bands for each destination. You can check the exact cost at checkout by entering your delivery address before completing the order.

Italian zones are determined by the province of the delivery address: Sicily and Sardinia fall under Italy (islands). In mainland Italy, GLS Parcel Shop is available up to 20 kg. Home-delivery rates for mainland Italy and the islands cover orders up to 50 kg. For greater weights, contact us before ordering to confirm options and request a quotation. Always check the rate available for your address before paying.

In mainland France (excluding Corsica), GLS Parcel Shop is available up to 20 kg and home delivery up to 50 kg. Monaco is served by GLS home delivery up to 50 kg. For orders over 50 kg, request a quotation before purchasing. French overseas territories are not included in the mainland France rate; available FedEx options and their cost depend on the destination territory.

FedEx shipping: initial rates

The following euro rates apply to the initial FedEx weight band, for orders up to 1 kg. The cost increases with total order weight and destination. Enter your delivery address at checkout to see available options and the exact price before paying.

Bulky orders or orders over 50 kg: request a quotation before purchasing. We do not offer an automatic FedEx rate for weights over 50 kg. For large parcels, unusual dimensions or remote-area deliveries, check transport conditions and costs before placing the order.

Checkout uses the weight and weight bands configured for the order; it does not automatically calculate dimensional weight from each parcel’s dimensions. If your order takes up a lot of space relative to its weight, contact us to confirm the applicable rate.

Shipping to the United Kingdom

FedEx rates for other destinations

The zones in this table reflect our store’s destination groupings. Rates apply only to countries and regions enabled for purchases. See this page’s excluded destinations; the table does not expand the countries to which we ship.

• Zone A-H: Canada, US states except Hawaii, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Gibraltar and Liechtenstein.
• Zone B: Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and the Philippines, among enabled destinations.
• Zone C: Greece, Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar, among enabled destinations.
• Zones D and G: Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Puerto Rico and South Africa (zone D), among enabled destinations.
• Zone E: Hawaii and other destinations in this zone enabled for purchases.

United States territories: Hawaii and Puerto Rico have different rates from the other states. For Guam, the Marshall Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, the Virgin Islands and other territories or special addresses, check availability and request a quotation before purchasing.

Shipping outside the European Union

Deliveries to countries outside the European Union use FedEx, except Monaco, which uses GLS. Available methods, transport costs and taxes charged by the store are shown before purchase confirmation. Possible destination taxes and customs charges are explained in the next section and must not be confused with amounts charged by the store.

Countries and territories we do not ship to

We currently do not ship to the following destinations because transport is unavailable, services are suspended or under our shipping policy:

• FedEx Express: service suspended. Afghanistan, Belarus, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, Russia, Sierra Leone, Syria, Turkmenistan, Venezuela and Yemen.
• FedEx Express: no service. Burma (Myanmar), Comoros, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Johnston Island, Falkland Islands, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Wake Island, Kiribati, Mayotte, Nauru, Niue, Crimea region, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Helena, São Tomé and Príncipe, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Tajikistan and Tuvalu.
• Other destinations without shipping service. If your country does not appear among available destinations when ordering, we do not have shipping service to that country.

Transport availability may change. You can consult the updated FedEx list of unserved countries and territories. Tienda-Medieval’s own exclusions apply even if the carrier offers some service to those destinations.

Taxes, customs and restrictions

For shipments to countries outside the European Union, customs clearance costs are borne by the customer. Before ordering, we recommend asking destination customs about those costs and any applicable duties, import taxes and handling fees.

Shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and Andorra, and destinations outside the European Union VAT area, may be subject to customs procedures, import taxes or destination handling fees. Invoice taxation is determined under the rules applicable to each transaction. Amounts payable by the recipient will be communicated where they can be calculated before purchase; for possible import costs, consult destination customs or contact us before ordering.

Sale and transport of certain weapons, replicas or restricted products may depend on the destination country and its import rules. Legal requirements, restrictions and necessary documents must be specified before purchase. We request only indispensable information or documentation; a product will not be shipped if its sale or transport is prohibited. See also section 5 of our Terms.

Availability and timescales

Each product page provides availability or an estimated dispatch time. These indications refer to order preparation and dispatch and do not, by themselves, guarantee a delivery date:

• Immediate dispatch: product available for immediate dispatch, subject to order preparation. This concerns dispatch; delivery time depends on transport and destination.
• Currently unavailable: the product is temporarily unavailable for purchase.
• Shipping: 1 week: estimated dispatch within one week.
• Shipping: 1–2 weeks: estimated dispatch within that period.
• Shipping: 2–4 weeks: estimated dispatch within that period.
• Shipping: enquire: confirm availability and timing with us before buying.

Personalised, handmade or made-to-order items may require additional preparation time, disclosed on the product page or before checkout is completed. Delivery uses transport services or collection points where available. If you need an order urgently, check the timescale before purchasing.

Unless a different delivery period is expressly agreed before the contract, we will deliver without undue delay and within a maximum of 30 calendar days after the contract is concluded. If an incident affects the agreed date, we will inform you and statutory consumer rights will apply. After purchase, you will receive email confirmation and relevant updates on order status.

Delivery problems

The risk of loss or damage in transit remains with SERRALZATE until you or a third party you designate, other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. If you independently engage a carrier we have not offered, the corresponding statutory exception applies. We will deal with the carrier regarding shipments we organise; collection-point delivery does not require waiving these rights.

If the parcel does not arrive, arrives damaged or contains an incorrect item, contact us to address the incident and apply the appropriate consumer-law remedy. Where repair or replacement of a damaged or incorrect item is appropriate, we will bear necessary expenses, including transport. Prompt notification assists handling, but failure to notify immediately or note reservations with the carrier does not remove your statutory consumer rights.
